Arka teaches astrology as a contemplative tradition — a mirror for reflection, not a machine for prophecy. Please hold what you read here in that spirit.
Everything on Arka is for education and reflection only. It is not medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice, and no chart or reading is a guarantee about your life. The decisions are always yours.
Arka is an educational lab. Its lessons, instruments, essays, and charts exist to teach astrology as a living tradition of thought and to offer a mirror for self-reflection. They are not professional advice of any kind, and using the site does not create a professional or advisory relationship between you and Vedatom.
Astrology as offered here is a contemplative and cultural discipline, not an empirical science. No chart, transit, daśā, or reading on this site is a promise or prediction about what will happen in your life, health, relationships, or finances. Read the sky as a language for reflection — never as a verdict.
Never use Arka in place of advice from a licensed professional. In particular:
If you are in crisis or may be in danger, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. Astrology is never a substitute for urgent help.
You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act on anything you read here. To the fullest extent the law allows, Vedatom and its team accept no liability for choices made, or outcomes experienced, in reliance on Arka. This complements the fuller terms in our Terms of Service.
Arka's instruments compute positions from astronomical models chosen for clarity of teaching. Some are deliberately simplified — using mean motions rather than a full ephemeris — so that a principle can be seen plainly. Treat every figure as illustrative for learning, not as a precise or professional-grade calculation, and expect the occasional error or omission as the curriculum evolves.
Arka honours both Jyotiṣa and Western astrology and the teachers who carried them. We present these traditions with care and in our own synthesised voice; where views differ across schools, we say so. Nothing here is intended to disparage any faith, culture, or practice.
The stars incline; they do not compel. What you do with the light remains, always, yours to choose.
