Arka casts the solar return as the instant the Sun comes back to its natal sidereal longitude (Lahiri) — the Tājika convention. A tropical return is a different instant, drifting by about a day over a lifetime with the ayanāṁśa; Arka does not compute it here. From the return Arka reads the year's tendency: the muntha's field, the year-lord's temper, and whether the year's chief joining completes or has passed. It is a forecast of weather, not of events — it inclines the year, and rewards the effort you bring to it. Read it beside your daśā season and the day's sky; for a dated turning, the Event Finder.
